Hurriyat leaders expose Indian false flag operations in key press talk
Karachi: Leaders of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter, in a significant press conference held in Karachi, exposed India’s orchestrated false flag operations, particularly the recent Pahalgam incident in Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Hurriyat leaders including Advocate Parvez Ahmed Shah and Syed Yousuf Naseem declared the May 22 Pahalgam incident a carefully planned false flag operation by Indian intelligence agencies. They stated that the objective was to mislead the international community, malign Pakistan, and discredit the legitimate Kashmiri freedom movement by linking it with terrorism.
They pointed out that the incident was timed with the visit of U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance to India, using the occasion to gain diplomatic sympathy, boost internal political leverage, and increase pressure on Pakistan. Within just two hours of the incident, an FIR was registered and suspect sketches were released by Indian media, directly blaming Pakistan.
The Hurriyat leaders further condemned India’s unilateral suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty as a reaction to the Pahalgam event, warning that using water as a weapon sets a dangerous precedent. They highlighted India’s aggression under “Operation Sindoor,” targeting both military and civilian sites in Pakistan.
Paying tribute to the Pakistan Armed Forces, the APHC-AJK leaders praised their swift, organized, and dignified response, which thwarted Indian designs and sent a strong message of solidarity to the oppressed Kashmiris.
They announced “Bunyan-um-Marsus Rally” to be held in Karachi on July 8, to honor martyr Burhan Muzaffar Wani and express love and support for Pakistan’s brave armed forces.
The press conference was also attended by Sindh Assembly members Najm Mirza, Engineer Syed Adil Askari, Dr. J.P. Chhabria, Central Muslim League Sindh President Ahmad Nadeem, GDA Karachi representatives, PML-Functional President Capt. Naeem Feroz, and Muslim Conference General Secretary Advocate Ghulam Abbas Jamal, among others.
