Indian Army’s Fire and Fury Corps conducts firing exercise in Ladakh
New Delhi: The Indian Army has said its Fire and Fury Corps conducted an integrated firing exercise in Ladakh region of Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the army in a statement posted on X said, the aim of the exercise was to enhance validation of tactics and techniques while incorporating new-generation equipment and “battlefield equalisers”.
“In pursuance of the Indian Army’s Decade of Transformation, Fire and Fury Corps conducted an Integrated Firing Exercise in Ladakh aimed at enhancing jointness and validation of Tactics, Techniques and Procedures incorporating New Generation Equipments & Battlefield Equalisers,” the Corps said in the post. The Indian army also shared some photographs and a video clip of the exercise.
Defense analysts view India’s latest military exercise in Ladakh as its growing jingoism and a desperate attempt to project strength after suffering a humiliating setback in the so-called “Operation Sindoor” launched against Pakistan in May. The New Delhi’s aggressive posturing towards both Pakistan and China, following its military failures, they added, not only endangers regional peace but also exposes the Modi regime’s insecurity and its diversionary tactics to mask internal failures and continued oppression in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
