Indian troops launch CASO in Uri after Kulgam and Kishtwar
Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops have launched a violent cordon and search operation in Uri, following similar operations in Kulgam and Kishtwar districts.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian troops have started door-to-door searches in the Uri area of Baramulla district. Over the past week, four Indian soldiers have been killed during searches — one in Kishtwar, two in Kulgam, and one in Baramulla. The killings have led to a sharp decline in the morale of Indian forces.
Expressing their outrage over the Indian army’s operations, local residents said that the troops are falling victim to the extremist agenda of the Modi regime. Political analysts stated that the occupying forces are making desperate and futile attempts to suppress the legitimate freedom struggle of the oppressed Kashmiri people. The Kashmiri people have strongly denounced these actions by the Indian forces.
They added that despite the deployment of over one million troops, the Indian government’s move to station more military units in the occupied territory is part of a conspiracy to cement its illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir. They said that the Indian forces are subjecting Kashmiris to collective punishment, which is only intensifying public resentment and resistance against India.
