Governor Sindh terms floods Indian water aggression, vows revenge

Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori has termed the recent floods in Pakistan as Indian water aggression, vowing that the country will take revenge.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Kamran Tessori while talking to the media at Governor House Karachi, said that India unleashed water terrorism on Pakistan by releasing excessive water into rivers, creating a flood-like situation. He appealed to the Prime Minister to raise the issue of India’s water terrorism at the United Nations and other global forums in the same way as the matter of Indian attacks was highlighted.

He warned that after Punjab, Sindh too faces the threat of flooding due to Indian water aggression, which has already caused losses of billions of rupees. “Modi should know that this aggression will not help him secure victory in the upcoming elections,” Tessori remarked.

The Sindh Governor said that questions were already being raised over Modi’s aggressive actions against Pakistan, and now, in desperation, he has resorted to water terrorism. He stressed that Pakistan would expose Modi’s water aggression before the world.

He vowed, “We will take revenge for this water aggression,” adding that Modi’s cowardly actions only reflect his weakness and inevitable defeat.
