Six feared dead after passenger train collides with goods train in Chhattisgarh
Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh): At least six people were killed and several others injured when a passenger train collided with a goods train in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the tragic crash occurred on the Bilaspur–Katni section near Lal Khadan, when the Korba MEMU train overshot a signal and rammed into the rear of a freight train.
A preliminary investigation suggests that human error may have been the cause of the accident. Authorities have initiated an investigation, and restoration work is currently underway.
