Two Indian CRPF men injured in IED blasts in Jharkhand

Chaibasa (Jharkhand): Two Indian paramilitary personnel were critically injured in improvised explosive device (IED) blasts in violence-hit Jharkhand state.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel of a CoBRA battalion, identified as Head Constable Alok Das and Sepoy Narayan Das, were injured during a search operation in separate IED blasts inside the Saranda forest in West Singhbhum district.

West Singhbhum Superintendent of Police Amit Renu told media persons that the two CoBRA battalion personnel were part of a team engaged in a search operation against Maoists in the Saranda forest when the IEDs exploded.
