Madrasas, Muslim houses demolished under guise of encroachments

Sambhal: Muslims and their religious places are not safe at all under the rule of the Hindutva Bharatiya Janata Party in India.

According to Kashmir Media Service, in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh state of India, the Hindutva Yogi Adityanath government has demolished a madrasa using a bulldozer in the name of anti-encroachment action in the town of Nirwali of Nagar Panchayat.

Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Chandausi Ashutosh Tiwari, Naib Tehsildar Satyendra Chahar and Circle Officer of Chandosi Manoj Kumar Singh were present along with officials from five police stations to operate the bulldozer on the madrasa.

On this occasion, 8 to 10 houses of Muslims adjacent to the madrasa were also demolished with bulldozers.

Due to the deployment of a large number of police personnel, the entire area was showing the scene of curfew and police camp and no one was allowed to come out of their houses.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Panchayat of Naroli town, Bittan Malik, told the media that the Yogi government administration had not given any prior information before bulldozing the madrasa. He said this madrasa had been established for a long time and its land was not illegal or encroached upon.

There is an atmosphere of fear and anxiety in the entire area due to the administration’s retaliatory action against the madrasa.
