No durable peace in region without Kashmir solution: Amir Muqam
Islamabad: Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs Engineer Amir Muqam has said that the world has recognized that lasting stability in the region is not possible without a peaceful solution to the Kashmir dispute.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Engineer Amir Muqam, while addressing a ceremony in Islamabad, said that giving political and economic rights to the Kashmiri people was the need of the hour.
He said Pakistan stands with the Kashmiri people and will always stand with them, adding the entire nation is proud of the performance of the Pakistani forces.
He said he will continue to raise his voice for the Kashmiris’ rights at every forum until the Kashmir dispute is resolved in accordance with the UN resolutions and aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
Amir Muqam strongly condemned the Indian atrocities in the occupied territory and said that the freedom sentiments of the Kashmiris had not been weakened by Indian measures.
