Cockroach Janata Party exposes BJP’s fake news, propaganda machinery
New Delhi: In India, a new digital movement called the “Cockroach Janata Party” has openly challenged the BJP’s propaganda ecosystem and right-wing narrative machinery, accusing it of spreading fake narratives to silence criticism and dissenting voices.
According to Kashmir Media Service, a viral 2 minute 38 second video posted on 23 May 2026 by “Official Peeing Human” received nearly 493K views and 2.7K reactions. The video alleged that BJP supporters and right-wing circles rapidly spread propaganda claiming the Cockroach Janata Party was “foreign-funded” and “anti-national.”
It said the narrative falsely alleged that 50% of the movement’s audience belonged to Pakistan while only 9% came from India. The speaker rejected the accusations and argued that BJP’s ecosystem routinely labels every criticism, protest, or movement as a foreign conspiracy.
The video highlighted how Shaheen Bagh women protesting for months in Delhi’s freezing cold were mocked as people protesting for “500 rupees and biryani.” It stated that the year-long farmers’ protest was branded a “Khalistani conspiracy” despite being a mass public movement.
Internationally recognized environmental activist Sonam Wangchuk was also labeled a “Chinese-Pakistani agent,” while workers in Noida demanding minimum wages were accused by UP’s Labour Minister of spreading “Pakistani propaganda.”
The speaker argued that fake and manufactured propaganda spreads through social media, WhatsApp networks, and sections of mainstream media, creating confusion among ordinary Indians about what is true and what is false.
The movement claimed that politically aware Indians have now understood this alleged “BJP toolkit” of disinformation and manufactured narratives. It further claimed that official platform insights showed 90% of the Cockroach Janata Party’s followers are Indians living inside India.
Describing itself as a digital flood of India’s suppressed voice, the movement declared that hateful propaganda can no longer suppress this “revolutionary truth.”
