APHC-AJK felicitates Pakistan on Youm-e-Takbeer
Islamabad restored strategic balance in South Asia through nuclear capability: Safi

Islamabad : The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter has felicitated Pakistan on Youm-e-Takbeer, terming it a defining moment in the country’s history that symbolizes dignity, sovereignty and defensive strength for the entire Muslim Ummah.
According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC-AJK Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi, in a statement issued in Islamabad, extended congratulations to the Government and people of Pakistan, the armed forces, scientists and political leadership on this historic day.
He said May 28 marks the landmark moment when Pakistan, through successful nuclear tests, emerged as the first nuclear power in the Muslim world and the seventh globally, reshaping the strategic balance in South Asia.
He said despite intense international pressure, economic sanctions, diplomatic isolation, and external conspiracies, Pakistan demonstrated remarkable courage, resilience and national unity, setting a powerful example for the Islamic world.
Paying rich tributes to Pakistani scientists, particularly Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan and his team, Ghulam Muhammad Safi said their contributions would always be remembered in history for making Pakistan’s defence invincible through dedication, expertise and patriotism.
He said Pakistan’s nuclear achievement was not merely a national milestone but a clear message that nations aspiring for dignity and sovereignty must attain self-reliance in science, technology and defence.
He added that Pakistan’s entry into the nuclear club restored strategic stability in South Asia and conveyed a clear message to adversaries that its sovereignty, honour and territorial integrity remain non-negotiable.
The APHC-AJK Convener further said that Pakistan’s strength, stability and defensive capability remain a source of courage and hope for the people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He noted that the Kashmiris deeply value Pakistan’s political, diplomatic and moral support and remain confident that Pakistan will continue to support their right to self-determination at all forums.
Meanwhile, Chairman of International Forum for Justice and Human Rights Jammu and Kashmir Muhammad Ahsan Untoo in a statement in Srinagar congratulated the Pakistani people, armed forces, scientists and political leadership on the occasion of Youm-e-Takbir. He said this is a great day in the history of Pakistan when the country established its identity as a strong and sovereign state.
He said that the successful nuclear tests not only made Pakistan’s defence invincible but also raised the morale of the entire Muslim Ummah.
Muhammad Ahsan Untoo said the services of Pakistan’s renowned scientist Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan and his team will always be seen with respect and appreciation.
He prayed that Allah Almighty may grant Pakistan further stability, development and prosperity and make it a cradle of peace, unity and security.
