Rajouri’s siege enters 42nd day amid intensified crackdown

Srinagar: Indian forces continued their violent cordon and search operation for the 42nd consecutive day, today, in Rajouri district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian army’s ‘Operation Sheruwali’, in the dense forest belts of the Dorimal-Gambhir Mughlan area of Manjakote in Rajouri district, entered its 42nd day as Indian forces continue intensive search operations.
Launched by Indian Army, paramilitary, and other forces’ personnel in late May, the operation is one of the longest in the region. Indian forces are utilizing advanced surveillance equipment, including drones, sniffer dogs and gunship helicopters in the operation.
While the operation remains underway, the participating forces are carrying out extensive searches.
