Fresh snowfall disrupts life in Gurez valley
Srinagar: A late-season snowfall blanketed Gurez Valley in Bandipora district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir on Monday, causing disruptions to daily life.
According to Kashmir Media Service, over a foot of fresh snow fell in the valley, leading to the closure of schools and shortages of essential supplies. The Bandipora-Gurez road was also closed due to snowfall at Razdhan Top.
Meanwhile, rains lashed the plains of Kashmir, including Srinagar, bringing down temperatures. Several houses were damaged in Poonch district due to incessant rains.
