Police arrest 51 more people in Manipur
Imphal: In the Indian state of Manipur, a series of arrests continues in various districts during raids and search operations by the police.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the police conducted raids and searches in sensitive and difficult areas of different districts of the state and arrested 51 people for violating various provisions of the Indian Penal Code.
After the violent clashes, more than two hundred people have been killed and hundreds have been injured and displaced in the incidents of violence.
A heavy contingent of Indian forces is deployed in sensitive areas of the state.
According to the police, 124 checkpoints have been established in sensitive areas of various districts, including hills and valleys, to maintain law and order in Manipur.
