I.N.D.I.A. bloc condemns Modi govt’s handling of IIOJK

New Delhi: The I.N.D.I.A. bloc has strongly criticized the Modi government’s handling of situation in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, particularly in the wake of Doda operation, accused the government of prioritizing “false bravado” and “fake narratives” over national interest.

According to Kashmir Media Service, in a statement, the Congress party, part of the I.N.D.I.A. bloc, said, “We cannot endanger our national security by indulging in false bravado, fake narratives, and high-decibel whitewashing.” The party demanded a thorough investigation into the encounter and questioned the government’s handling of the situation.

The I.N.D.I.A. bloc’s criticism comes as the Modi government faces scrutiny over its handling of the situation in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The opposition alliance’s statement emphasized that “everything isn’t business as usual” and called for a more transparent and accountable approach to national security. The government has yet to respond to the I.N.D.I.A. bloc’s criticism.
