Srinagar: Body of a non-local man was retrieved from Jhelum River near Pantha Chowk area of Srinagar in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.

According to Kashmir Media Service, an official said that the body was retrieved by the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), who later handed it over to the police for identification and other legal formalities.

Police have taken cognisance of the matter.
