APHC-AJK commemorates Adv. Mushtaq Wani, Dr. Abdul Aala, Shaikh Tajamul-ul-Islam

Islamabad: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter held a solemn ceremony today to honour three eminent Kashmiri leaders, Adv. Mushtaq Ahmed Wani, Dr. Abdul Aala, and Shaikh Tajamul-ul-Islam, on their death anniversaries.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the event, which took place at the APHC-AJK office in Islamabad, underscored the enduring contributions of these figures to the ongoing struggle for the liberation of Jammu and Kashmir from Indian occupation. The ceremony was presided over by Ghulam Muhammad Safi, Convener of APHC-AJK, and saw a gathering of notable personalities including Sardar Yaqoob Khan, former President and Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Abdur Rashid Turabi, former Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami AJK, and Abdullah Gul, who attended as the chief guests.

Speakers at the event underscored the unwavering commitment of the Kashmiri people to their right to self-determination. They lauded the contributions of Adv. Mushtaq Ahmed Wani, Dr. Abdul Aala, and Shaikh Tajamul-ul-Islam, describing them as enduring symbols of hope and resistance against the Indian occupation.

The ceremony also highlighted the global importance of the Kashmir struggle and urged the international community to address the ongoing human rights violations perpetrated by Indian troops in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). The resilience of the Kashmiri people was praised, and the speakers reaffirmed their steadfast support for Kashmir’s quest for freedom. The speakers paid heartfelt tributes to all the martyrs and called for continued unity and perseverance in the struggle for freedom.

The participants collectively pledged to continue the legacy of the martyrs, reaffirming their dedication to the liberation of Jammu and Kashmir from Indian occupation. The APHC-AJK, alongside other Hurriyat leaders and freedom advocates present, committed to persist in their struggle until the aspirations of the Kashmiri people are fully realized.
