Mosque, residential houses damaged in Srinagar blaze
Body of man recovered from river in Rajouri
Srinagar: At least three residential houses and a mosque were damaged in a massive fire in Khanyar area of Srinagar, today.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the fire started in the mosque and rapidly spread to nearby homes.
Following the incident, fire fighters reached the spot to douse off the flames. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
On the other hand, the body of a man was recovered from a river in Rajouri district. The deceased has been identified as Karamat Shah, a resident of Draj in the district. Indian police have taken custody of the body, and an investigation into the cause of death has been initiated.
