AAC condoles deaths of Ghulam Nabi Mir, Muhammad Shafi Khan
Srinagar: The Awami Action Committee (AAC) expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of a renowned scholar and prominent personality from south Kashmir’s Dooru Shahabad, Abu Tariq Ghulam Nabi Mir.
In a condolence statement, the organisation on behalf of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq paid heartfelt tribute to the late Mir for his religious, social and community services.
Extending condolences to the bereaved family Mirwaiz Umar Farooq expressed solidarity with the family during this difficult time. The organisation prayed to Almighty Allah to grant Jannat-ul-Firdous to the departed soul and patience to the bereaved family.
The AAC also expressed grief over the demise of Muhammad Shafi Khan, son of Ghulam Muhammad Khan from Ahmad Akdal, Lal Bazar, a well-wisher of the organisation and an admirer of the Mirwaiz family.
It conveyed its heartfelt sympathies to the deceased Khan Sahib’s sons, Atif Khan and Faris Khan on behalf of Mirwaiz and prayed to Almighty Allah to grant Jannat-ul-Firdous to the departed soul and patience to the bereaved family.
