NC slams BJP over flood negligence in IIOJK
Jammu: National Conference Additional General Secretary, Ajay Kumar Sadhotra, has held the BJP responsible for decade-long negligence that worsened the recent flood devastation in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Sadhotra, who visited the flood-hit families in Jammu, said the BJP did nothing during its rule in New Delhi and Kashmir to check illegal mining, strengthen embankments or take preventive measures, resulting in huge losses of life and property. He termed the party’s attempt to malign the Omar Abdullah-led government as “malicious and insulting to victims.”
The NC leader urged immediate restoration of power and water supply to the affected areas.
