Indian police raid residences of Hurriyat activists in Srinagar

Srinagar: Indian police, targeting peace and freedom-loving activists, have raided and searched dozens of their residences across Srinagar city of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian police today carried out raids at various places in the city.
Police spokesperson in a statement said, police conducted extensive raids at multiple locations across the city.
The searches were carried out at the residences of Hurriyat leaders and activists, including Najeeb Saqib Dar. Owais Muneer Butt. Owais Ahmad Butt, Danish Ayoub Badoo, Umar Fayaz, Zahid Rashid Ganie, Hashim Farooq, Rashid Lateef Butt , Arhaan Rasool Dar, Owais Manzoor Sofi, Suhail Ahmed Mir, Muzaffar Farooq Mir, Imtiaz Ahmad Chikla, Umer Hameed Sheikh, Mohammad Asif Butt, Mohammad Adil Lone, Waseem Qadir Mir, jailed Uneeb Naseer, Danish Qadir Mir and Babar Suhail Sofi, under the draconian Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).
