IIOJK: Indian troops martyr a youth in Poonch

Jammu: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred a youth in Poonch district today.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the youth was martyred during a cordon and search operation in the Krishna Ghati sector.

The operation was continuing in the area when last reports came in. Further details are awaited.

The Indian Army’s White Knight Corps said that acting on “persistent surveillance,” suspicious movement was detected in the Krishna Ghati sector along the Line of Control in Poonch, and troops swiftly responded, claiming to have foiled an infiltration bid by killing one intruder. However, such claims are often used by Indian army officials to malign Pakistan and the Kashmir freedom movement. Indian troops frequently carry out cordon and search operations in villages near the LoC or pick up youth from different parts of the territory and later show them as “infiltrators” killed near the LoC.
