Sikh organizations in IIOJK raise strong voice over political, socio-economic concerns
Jammu: Various Sikh organizations have raised a strong voice over political and socio-economic concerns in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service,expressed concern over unfulfilled commitments regarding restoration of statehood, rising unemployment, administrative delays and other long-pending issues affecting the general public and Sikh community.
Mohinder Singh expressed concern over the “unfulfilled promises” regarding restoration of full statehood to occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He said that despite repeated assurances, no concrete steps have been taken so far. He further stated that the ground situation remains unsatisfactory due to rising unemployment, stalled recruitment processes and delays in government functioning.
He also pointed out the ongoing blame game between the elected Government led by Omar Abdullah and the Lieutenant Governor’s administration, stating that common people are suffering due to administrative confusion and delays in decision-making.
The meeting unanimously appealed for the early restoration of full statehood to Jammu and Kashmir.
