Delhi court extends police remand of illegally detained Kashmiri youth
New Delhi: A Delhi court has extended the police custody of illegally detained Kashmiri youth, Javaid Ahmad Matoo.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the court extended Junaid’s custody by five days after he was produced before it on expiry of the 7-day police remand granted earlier.
Junaid Matoo, a resident of Sopore area of Baramulla district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, was arrested by Indian police from Nizamuddin area of New Delhi on the 4th of this month. The Indian police have implicated him in several false cases in occupied Kashmir over a decade ago.
