Rallies, conference organized in Muzaffarabad to pay tributes to Afzal Guru, Maqbool Butt

Muzaffarabad,: Rallies and a conference were organized, today, in Muzaffarabad under the auspices of All Parties Hurriyat Conference AJK-chapter, Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir and Tehreek-e-Shabab-ul-Muslimeen, a constituent of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, in Muzaffarabad, today, to pay tributes to prominent liberation leaders Muhammad Afzal Guru and Muhammad Maqbool Butt.

According to Kashmir Media Service, a large number of people gathered at Shaheed Afzal Guru Chowk in Muzaffarabad and marched on the Srinagar highway. They raised high-pitched slogans against India and in favour of freedom.

The speakers, addressing the participants of the rally, said Muhammad Afzal Guru, Muhammad Maqbool Butt and other lakhs of martyrs are real heroes of Kashmiris. They said India can never weaken the freedom struggle of Kashmiris by executions, fake arrests and the worst use of black laws. India cannot suppress the freedom spirit of Kashmiris by committing the worst kind of human rights violations in the territory

The speakers also paid tribute to martyrs Syed Ali Gilani, Molvi Mohammad Farooq, Burhan Muzaffar Wani, Shamsul Haque, Ahmed Hassan, Zakir Rashid Musa, Zia Mustafa, Sajjad Afghani, Riaz Naiko and lakhs of others.

Pasban-e-Hurriyat Chairman Uzair Ahmed Ghazali, Mushtaq-ul-Islam, Usman Ali Hashim, Syed Shoaib Shah and others also participated in the rally.

A grand Kashmir Martyrs Conference and rally were organized under the auspices of All Parties Hurriyat Conference AJK-chapter and Tehreek-e-Shabab-ul-Muslimeen, in Muzaffarabad, today, to pay tributes to prominent liberation leaders Muhammad Afzal Guru and Muhammad Maqbool Butt.

Sheikh Aqilur Rehman, Aziz Alvi, Raja Aslam, Mushtaq Ahmed Butt, Iqbal Yasin Awan, Qazi Imran, Usman Ali Hashim, Mushtaq-ul-Islam, Sultan Mahmood, Muhammad Amin Butt, Siddique Dawood, Iqbal Mir, Lal Din Awan, Naseer Mir, Riaz Ahmed Awan, Munir Ahmed Kunshi, Zameer Durrani, Faizullah Durrani, Shahid Awan, Asif Durrani, Arshad Awan, Imtiaz Awan and others participated in the conference.

India executed Muhammad Afzal Guru on February 9, 2013 and Muhammad Maqbool Bhatt on February 11, 1984 in the infamous Tihar Jail of New Delhi and buried their bodies in premises of the prison.
