Kashmiri freedom movement activist Nazir Ahmad passes away in Rawalpindi
Rawalpindi: Nazir Ahmed, an activist of Kashmir freedom movement from Ganderbal district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, died of cardiac arrest at Dhok Piracha in Rawalpindi today.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Nazir Ahmad, who was the son-in-law of prominent Kashmiri poet Mushtaq Kashmiri, was forced to migrate to Pakistan in the 90s and was living in Rawalpindi. The deceased left behind a widow and a son.
His funeral prayers will be offered after Isha prayer at Khana, Islamabad.
