Kashmiri student found dead under mysterious circumstances in Punjab, India
Srinagar: A Kashmiri student was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Punjab state, India, marking the second such incident in the past two days.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the BSc Radiology student from Kashmir, namely Zahid Ahmad, was found dead in the hostel room of Desh Bhagat University in the state.
The young student from South Kashmir’s Tral was studying in the 6th semester of BSc Radiology at Desh Bhagat University in Punjab.
The Kashmiri student, Zahid Ahmad, from Tral, Pulwama, studying at DBU University Punjab, attempted suicide, as claimed by the police.
Meanwhile, his family has been contacted, and further investigation in this regard has been initiated. His relatives have demanded an investigation into the matter.
Earlier on Monday, another Kashmiri man, identified as Rajesh Dogra, a resident of Jammu, was shot dead by unidentified assailants in broad daylight outside a busy road at Sector 67 in Mohali area of Punjab state, India.
