Geneva: Kashmiri delegation apprises Dilnoza Mingboyeva of IIOJK women’s sufferings
Geneva: On International Women’s Day, Kashmiri delegation to United Nations Human Rights Council called on Dilnoza Mingboyeva, Second Secretary Permanent Mission of Republic of Kazakhstan to UN in Geneva and briefed her about the current situation of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, especially the sufferings of Kashmiri women.
According to Kashmir Media Service, a Kashmiri delegation told Dilnoza Mingboyeva that the Indian forces have been using the Kashmiri women as weapons of war to suppress the legitimate Kashmir struggle for right to self-determination.
It said the Kashmiri women are humiliated and victimised and thousands of women have been rendered widows and half widows whose husbands have disappeared and Killed at the hands of Indian forces.
The Kashmir delegation also apprised her of the plight of Kashmiri women who have been detained by Indian rulers in different jails of India and the territory without trial.
The second Secretary showed concern about the sufferings of Kashmiris, especially Kashmiri women.
The Kashmiri delegation comprised Syed Faiz Naqshbani, Hassan Al-Bana and Advocate Parvez Ahmad Shah.
