Sikhs protest in front of Indian Embassy in France
Paris: Sikhs, living in France, staged a protest in front of the Indian Embassy in Paris against the atrocities committed on Sikhs in India.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the demonstrators, including women, children and elderly people, protested outside the Indian embassy for four hours and raised slogans against the brutality of the Modi government on farmers and minorities and the target killing of Sikhs to suppress their voice for freedom. The protesters demanded that India must stop its state terrorism immediately.
They demanded the immediate release of Sikh leaders and activists languishing in Indian jails for years. They also demanded the international community to put pressure on India to stop atrocities against all minorities, including Sikhs and Muslims.
