Rehmani, others extend Eid greetings, highlight global concerns for Muslims
Islamabad: Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, APHC-AJK leader, has extended warm greetings to the Muslim Ummah on the eve of Eidul-Fiter, marking the conclusion of the blessed month of Ramadan, during which the Quran, the final revelation of truth and guidance, was sent down.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Rehmani emphasized that the planet earth was illuminated through the guidance of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the last of the prophets. However, he cautioned Muslims about the unprecedented horrors being inflicted upon them by racist and imperialist forces worldwide.
Highlighting the concern of non-Muslim governments regarding the unimpeded spread of Islam, Rehmani hinted at the threats embedded in political, diplomatic, and military actions aimed at annihilating Muslims and occupying their lands. He pointed to the ongoing genocide in Gaza, Palestine, where over 30,000 lives, including children and women, have been lost due to the war machinery backed by the US and Western powers.
Referring to the plight of people in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), Rehmani noted the collaboration between India’s Modi regime and the Zionist regime, resulting in the massacre of around a hundred thousand Kashmiri Muslims over the past three decades.
He called upon Muslim governments to uphold the principles of the Quran and Sunnah if they aim to lead the Muslim world.
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the Jammu and Kashmir National Front extended heartfelt greetings to the Muslim Ummah and appealed to the affluent members of society to generously support the destitute, poor, and less privileged segments, particularly those affected by Indian state terrorism in occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The spokesperson emphasized the importance of sharing and caring for the needy, especially during the auspicious occasion of Eidul-Fiter.
