Israel, India involved in ethnic cleansing in Palestine, Kashmir: APHC-AJK
Islamabad: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHCAJK) has strongly condemned the atrocities committed by Israel against innocent Palestinians and India in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the Kashmir Media Service, APHC-AJK chapter’s Convener Mehmood Ahmed Saghar in a statement issued in Islamabad said that Israel and India persist in forcefully subjugating unarmed civilians in Palestine and Kashmir, respectively.
Saghar condemned the Israeli forces’ bombings and attacks on civilians, including the killing of the sons and grandchildren of Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh in Gaza, and expressed solidarity with Palestine.
He emphasized that Kashmiris and Palestinians have the right to resist as long as the occupation of their lands continues. He called for transnational solidarity campaigns to expose the false facade of normalcy presented by the occupiers, India and Israel, and to highlight the war crimes and ethnic cleansing being perpetrated by the two states.
“We must work together to hold India and Israel accountable for their war crimes and crimes against humanity, ensuring that justice is served for the oppressed people of Kashmir and Palestine,” Saghar stated.
He stressed the need for the international community to acknowledge the righteous demands of Kashmiris and Palestinians and ensure their voices are heard.
Saghar concluded by emphasizing the importance of continuing to express solidarity with the Palestinian cause and working towards building a strong transnational movement to effectively counter the settler colonial programs of India and Israel in Kashmir and Palestine.
