Muslims in India, Palestine facing difficult times: Farooq Abdullah
Srinagar: National Conference chief Farooq Abdullah highlighted the plight of Muslims worldwide, particularly in Palestine, where ongoing violence has claimed numerous lives.
According to Kashmir Media Service, after offering Eid-ul-Fitr prayers at the Hazratbal shrine in Srinagar, Abdullah addressed the media, expressing regret over the silence of Muslim governments in the face of escalating violence in Palestine.
“May Allah have mercy on Muslims, whether it is India or Palestine, Muslims are facing difficult times. I regret that Muslim governments are silent despite people being killed in Palestine. May Allah give them some wisdom,” Abdullah stated.
Abdullah’s remarks underscore the global concern for the humanitarian crisis in Palestine and call for action from Muslim-majority nations to address the escalating situation.
