Efforts of divisive elements will be fought tooth and nail: Agha Ruhullah
Srinagar: Senior leader of National Conference and Lok Sabha candidate from Srinagar, occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Agha Ruhullah has reiterated that efforts of divisive elements need to be fought tooth and nail.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Agha Ruhullah talking to the media said that People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) was not an electoral alliance but meant for a particular cause which was still relevant. “The cause PAGD was formed to still exist. For that we will have to get united again. We have a big responsibility in the election as it will be a fresh start for our struggle to fight for our rights that were snatched on August 05, 2019”, he added.
He said the ongoing Lok Sabha election is for that institution where our rights were trampled. “This is an important election to make people aware and tell them to wake up and fight for their rights. This is a big opportunity for us to reach out to people and let them know what was taken away from us”, he said.
The NC leader said, “The decision taken on August 05, 2019 is unacceptable for us. The aim of our contesting elections is to represent the collective sentiment of our people who are disappointed with the declarations of New Delhi.”
