PM Shehbaz Sharif raises Kashmir dispute with visiting Iran President Raisi
Islamabad: Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif on Monday raised the issue of Kashmir with visiting Iran President Ebrahim Raisi
According to Kashmir Media Service, Shehbaz Sharif addressing a joint press conference along with President Raisi expressed his gratitude to the Iranian leadership for raising voice for the oppressed people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The prime minister said the Kashmir valley had also been turned to red by the blood of the oppressed Kashmiris. He believed that Kashmir will also be liberated soon.
“I thank you (Raisi) and the people of Iran for raising your voice for Kashmir,” Shehbaz Sharif said. He was confident that the day is not far when the Kashmiri people will also get their right to self-determination.
The Prime Minister also commended the Iranian stance on Palestinian issue. He said Pakistan stands by the Palestinian people. He said the Muslim countries need to collectively raise their voices from various forums in support of the Palestinian people.
