Around 100 arrested during CASOs in Rajouri, Bandipora
Srinagar: Indian army and paramilitary forces’ personnel have arrested over one hundred people in the ongoing cordon and search operations in Bandipora and Rajouri districts.
According to the Kashmir Media Service, Indian police on Wednesday confirmed the arrest of at least 67 people during the operation in the Shahadra area of Rajouri district alone over the past two days. The operation was launched after the killing of a government employee, Mohammad Razaq, by unknown gunmen in the district, two days ago.
“Thus far, 67 suspected individuals have been detained for questioning following this incident,” the police spokesman said.
Meanwhile, dozens more were arrested during the ongoing operation in Bandipora district of the occupied territory today.
