Srinagar boat tragedy: Body of minor boy found near Rajbagh after 11 days
Srinagar: Eleven days after going missing, the body of the seventh victim in the Srinagar boat tragedy has been found.
According to Kashmir Media Service, officials said that the body of a young child was found floating in the Jhelum River near Rajbagh in Srinagar, Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
They said that the body has been handed over to the police who have taken it for medico-legal formalities.
“The body has not been identified as of yet, however, the body recovered is that of a young child,” said locals.
Earlier on April 16, a boat, carrying 19 persons, capsized in Srinagar’s Ganderbal area when it was crossing Jhelum river, six persons died in the incident, while ten were rescued.
