Lok Sabha polls: Modi’s govt facing many problems including unemployment
New Delhi: Narendra Modi’s government is facing many problems during the phased Lok Sabha elections in India, including rapidly rising unemployment.
According to the Kashmir Media Service, the report of the Reuters news agency said the Modi government has failed miserably in creating jobs for India’s growing youth population. Between 2010 and 2019, about 29.2 percent of the total number of youth were unemployed and not educated or trained, it said.
Recently, according to the India Employment Report 2024 released by the International Labour Organization, one out of every 3 Indian youth is unemployed. According to the survey, the Indian economy is likely to account for 6.5 percent in the fiscal year ended on March 31.
The poor people are moving illegally to the United States and Britain. Recently, more than 40,000 Indians have illegally gone to Israel for employment. The Modi government has taken hateful actions against minorities, especially Muslims.
The Modi government made promises to provide employment to the youth every time the elections came around, but they turned out to be lies and continue to do so.
