Glowing tributes paid to Ashraf Sehrai on his third martyrdom anniversary

Srinagar: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) spokesman, Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas has paid glowing tributes to senior APHC leader, Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai, on his third martyrdom anniversary, today.
According to Kashmir Media Service, senior APHC leader, Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai died in Indian police custody in Jammu on May 5, 2021.
Advocate Abdul Rahid Minhas in a statement issued in Srinagar, Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, said that the death of Ashraf Sehrai was an irreversible loss but his sacrifices should not be allowed to be forgotten and his mission would be accomplished at all costs.
He said the people who were responsible for his custodial death are yet to be brought to justice and reiterated that the people of Kashmir would continue their freedom struggle till complete success. It said the Indian government was directly responsible for Sehrai’s custodial murder.
He added that there was dire need to have a credible investigation into the incident to ascertain the real facts that led to the tragic death of the Kashmiri leader.
Abdul Rashid Minhas said best way to pay tribute to the iconic leader is to fulfill his sacred mission, adding Ashraf Sehrai will continue to live in the Kashmiris’ hearts for his sacrifices in the way of freedom.
The APHC spokesman said Ashraf Sehrai’s son, Junaid Sehrai, also attained martyrdom while fighting Indian occupation in May, 2020 and sacrifices of Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai’s family will remain a golden page in Kashmir’s history.
He said the Modi regime is directly responsible for Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai’s custodial death and the people of Kashmiri are determined not let his blood go in vain.
Meanwhile, Hurriyat leaders, including Muhammad Yousuf Naqash, Fayaz Hussain Jafari, Syed Sabte Shabbir Qummi, Aijaz Rehmani, Qazi Imran, Sardar Haji Arif, Aftab Arif, Khawaja Ayaz, Chaudhry Shabbir Ahmad Chichi, Abdul Ghani Lone and Chaudhry Usman in their statements, paying rich tributes to Ashraf Sehrai, reiterated to continue the mission of Kashmiri martyrs at all costs.
