BJP goons attack Congress’s Amethi office, vandalise cars
Amethi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) goons attacked the Congress office in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the BJP goons attacked the Congress office late at night before the visit of the opposition Congress party leader Priyanka Gandhi to Amethi district and vandalized dozens of cars parked outside the office.
The local police remained silent spectators during the hooliganism. Congress party says that BJP has resorted to hooliganism for fear of defeat in Amethi. Smriti Irani, the BJP candidate for Lok Sabha from Amethi, is using dirty tactics for fear of defeat.
Priyanka Gandhi, after the attack, has announced a stay in the two constituencies of Amethi and RaeBareli till the day of polling on May 20.
The police have registered a case against unknown persons and started an investigation.
