Kotli conference: Ulemas, Mashaikh unite for Pakistan & Kashmir’s defense, stability
Kotli: In a show of unity, prominent Ulemas and Mashaikh gathered at a conference in Kotli, Azad Kashmir, to reaffirm their commitment to the defense and stability of Pakistan and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the national unity conference, titled “Role of Minbar-o-Mehraab and Responsibilities of Ulema and Mashaik”, brought together leading Ulemas and Mashaikh from all schools of thought.
Speakers at the conference emphasized the need for unity and an end to conflicts in society. They stressed the importance of promoting dialogue and mutual understanding, and called for a comprehensive policy to ensure the prosperity of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
The Ulemas and Mashaikh declared that the heirs of the ‘minbar and mehraab’ stand united and are ready to make any sacrifice for the defense and stability of Pakistan and Kashmir.
Those who spoke on the occasion included former Member of the AJK Assembly Pir Ali Raza Bukhari, Chairman Ulama Mashaikh Council Maulana Imtiaz Ahmad Siddiqui, Nazim Aala Jamaat Ahle Sunnat Azad Kashmir Allama Syed Ghulam Yasin Geelani, District Mufti Abdul Ghaffar Salafi, District Amir Jamiat Ahl Hadith Professor Abdul Rauf Butt, Vice Chairman Ulama Mashaikh Council Qazi Muhammad Sohail Qureshi, Allama Muhammad Tahir, Syed Mehmood Shirazi, Allama Abdul Aziz Noorani, Allama Muzaffar Iqbal Naqshbandi, Mufti Allama Habibullah Rasikh, Mufti Arshad Razu and others.
