Indian agencies behind bus attack to discredit freedom movement: Safi
Islamabad: Ghulam Muhammad Safi, the newly elected convener of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, condemned the attack on a bus carrying yatris in Reasi, Jammu region of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, and attributed it to Indian agencies attempting to discredit the movement for the right to self-determination.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Safi in a statement issued in Islamabad said that Indian agencies have a history of similar actions, such as the Singhpura and Vandhama incidents in Ganderbal. He emphasized that the bloodshed of innocent people is equivalent to killing entire humanity and that the Hurriyat Conference will expose this conspiracy and not let the Modi regime’s extremist Hindutva ideology succeed.
Safi clarified that the struggle is based on high human values and Islamic principles, and there is no room for cowardly attacks on non-combatants. He viewed such attacks as a conspiracy to defame the struggle and distract the world’s attention, terming the victimization of innocent people as reprehensible.
