Indian troops arrest three youth in Pulwama
Srinagar: Indian troops arrested three youth in the Pulwama district of Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the youth were arrested during a cordon and search operation in the Nihama area. The troops claimed that the detained youth were “over-ground workers”.
The families of the detainees have denied the charge and have demanded their immediate release
The arrests have sparked concerns about the ongoing crackdown on dissent in the occupied territory, with many human rights groups criticizing the Indian government’s actions in the garb of over-ground workers as a violation of basic rights and freedoms.
