BJP govt bulldozes two more Muslim houses in Madhya Pradesh
Bhopal: The BJP government in Madhya Pradesh has demolished two more houses belonging to Muslims, Asghar Khan and Jaffar Khan, in Noorabad village, Morena district, allegedly over cow slaughter allegations.
This follows the demolition of three Muslim homes in Seoni District and dozens of houses in various districts, including Mandla, Ratlam, Jaora, and Seoni, this week.
The demolitions have been carried out using bulldozers, and the NSA has been invoked against some individuals. Amnesty International has condemned these actions as “unlawful demolitions” and called for an immediate halt to the practice, which they deem “cruel and appalling”.
The organization has also demanded adequate compensation for those affected and accountability for those responsible. The situation remains tense, with protests erupting in Delhi’s Mangolpuri area over the demolition of a mosque.
