IIOJK parties demand release of Er Rasheed and other detainees
Srinagar: Various political parties in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir have called for immediate release of Engineer Abdul Rasheed and other Kashmiri leaders and activists detained in jails.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Mehbooba Mufti, People’s Democratic Party chief, termed Rasheed’s imprisonment as a “travesty of justice” and demanded his release, citing the baseless charges against him since 2019.
Omar Abdullah of National Conference highlighted that detained Rasheed won’t be able to represent his people’s aspirations.
