Mutilated bodies of twin girls recovered from Poonch IIOJK
Jammu: In a horrifying incident, the bodies of newborn twin babies with slit throats were discovered in Poonch district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the Kashmir Media Service, the bodies of the newborn twin girls were found at their residence in the remote village of Chajjla-Keyani in the district.
Officials stated that the father of the infants has been detained for questioning, while the bodies have been transferred to a hospital for post-mortem examination.
Bhupinder Kumar, Sub-Divisional Police Officer of Mendhar, said that upon receiving information about the bodies of two female twins at Mohammad Khursheed’s house in Chajjla-Keyani village, a police team was dispatched to the site. Both bodies were recovered and transported to the sub-district hospital in Mendhar for medical procedures, he added, noting that investigations are ongoing to determine the motive behind the brutal double murder.
