Lahore: A delegation of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) AJK Chapter held a meeting with the Chairman of the Mashaikh Peace Alliance, Pir Syed Makhdoom Haroon Shah Gilani, in Lahore. They apprised him of the serious situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), particularly focusing on the Indian atrocities against innocent Kashmiris.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the Kashmiri delegation, led by Zahid Safi, invited Pir Syed Makhdoom Haroon Gilani to participate in the rally to be held in Lahore on July 19 in connection with ‘Kashmir Accession Day’.

Pir Syed Makhdoom Haroon Gilani accepted the invitation and agreed to participate in the rally. He condemned the horrible situation prevailing in IIOJK, stating that the massacre of innocent Kashmiris by the Indian troops is a serious violation of human rights.

Gilani emphasized that the Ulama and Mashaikh of Pakistan seek a lasting solution to the Kashmir issue in accordance with the wishes and aspirations of the Kashmiri people. “We will continue our complete support until Kashmiris attain freedom from the illegal Indian occupation,” he added.

Engineer Mirza Mushtaq, Zahid Ashraf, and Muhammad Shafi Dar were also part of the delegation.
