Indian police book youth under PSA, violent CASOs underway in IIOJK
Srinagar: Indian police booked a Kashmiri youth under black law Public Safety Act. (PSA) in Baramulla district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the police during a house raid arrested the youth identified as Bashir Ahmad in Chandoosa area of the district.
Police said he was detained and subsequently lodged in Central Jail, Srinagar.
Meanwhile, Indian troops, paramilitary and Special Operation Group continued their violent cordon and search operations and house raids in different villages, towns and areas of Doda, Poonch, Rajouri, Udhampur and Samba districts of Jammu region.
Indian police officials confirmed that ground and aerial search operation was launched by the forces’ personnel following what they claimed suspected movement in Poonch, Rajouri, and Samba districts. The search operation is backed by drones.
The search operation was also underway in the Ramgarh area of Samba district.
