JI Ameer Dr. Fayaz rearrested after release on parole
Srinagar: Dr. Hamid Fayaz, the Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, was rearrested and sent back to jail after the brief release on parole.
Dr. Fayaz was released on parole last week to attend his son’s wedding but was rearrested the next day, causing immense mental distress to his elderly parents and children.
The JI in Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir has played a historic role in keeping the Kashmir issue alive.
However, the Modi regime is using different oppressive tactics to force the party to remain neutral.
APHC leader Abdul Samad Inqilabi while denouncing the rearrest of Dr Fayaz said that the Kashmiri people draw inspiration from the JI leadership against the Indian government’s oppressive policies. Inqilabi urged the Pakistani government to inform the international community about the sufferings of the Kashmiri people.
