IIOJK Congress slams BJP’s tenure as a nightmare for the Kashmiris
Jammu: The Congress chapter in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) has sharply criticized the BJP-led administration in the territory, describing its tenure as one marked by broken promises, governance failures, and a complete disregard for the aspirations of the people.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the IIOJK Congress Working President, Raman Bhalla, addressing various meetings in Jammu, said, “The BJP’s tenure in J&K has been nothing short of a nightmare”. He elaborated, “The BJP government has not only broken every single political promise made to garner votes but has also proven to be a policy and governance nightmare for Jammu and Kashmir.”
Bhalla highlighted the growing resentment and anger among the people towards the BJP-led administration, saying it exploited public sentiments with emotive slogans, only to “ditch them at the first sight of power.”
He emphasized the need for a collective effort to bring about a government that truly represents and addresses the needs and aspirations of the people. He urged the citizens to stand united against the BJP’s exploitation and to work towards a more accountable and people-centric governance.
