APHC condemns BJP regime’s brutal atrocities in IIOJK

Srinagar: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has strongly condemned the recent wave of violent cordon and search operations, house raids, and arbitrary arrests carried out by Indian forces’ personnel across Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, in a statement issued in Srinagar, APHC spokesman, Advocate Abdul Rashid denounced the arrest of five youths during recent house raids and cordon and search operations in the Pulwama and Islamabad districts.

Advocate Minhas also denounced the suspension of five government employees on fabricated charges, labeling it as another instance of the RSS-backed Modi regime’s vindictive approach towards Kashmiris who resist India’s illegal occupation of their homeland. He emphasized that these measures are part of a broader pattern of political vengeance against the Kashmiri people.

The APHC statement highlighted the dire and alarming conditions in IIOJK, where cities, towns, and villages have been transformed into military zones. The occupation troops are committing heinous crimes against innocent civilians, particularly targeting the youth.

Meanwhile, the Jammu and Kashmir Young Men’s League, in a statement in Srinagar, has condemned the raid on its party leader Shaikh Mehrajudin’s residence in Maisuma area of the city. The statement said that the raid, conducted by Indian forces’ personnel, involved harassment of the leader’s family and damage to household goods. The organization vowed to persist in the ongoing freedom struggle despite these oppressive actions.
