IIOJK lost everything under BJP rule: Raman Bhalla
Jammu: The Congress chapter in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir has strongly criticized the BJP-led Indian government, saying the territory has lost its identity, status, and rights over jobs and land under the saffron party’s rule.
According to Kashmir Media Service, addressing residents in Jammu’s Shankar Nagar area, the IIOJK Congress Working President Raman Bhalla lamented the neglect and exploitation of the territory over the past decade.
Bhalla accused the BJP of making false promises, failing to control prices, and neglecting employment opportunities.
He condemned the BJP for creating an atmosphere of uncertainty, divisiveness, and suppressing dissenting voices. He called for unity among civil society, students, youth, traders, and farmers to defeat those who have betrayed the people’s trust.
Bhalla demanded an explanation from the BJP for delaying elections and urged the immediate restoration of democracy in IIOJK. He criticized the party’s bureaucratic grip on the territory, resulting in a prolonged absence of an elected government.
